To help you learn more about the festival site we’ve put together all the information you need in one place.
First things first, the full address is as follows:
Hainault Forest Country Park
The opening times for the festival are midday to 11pm, on Saturday 30th June 2018.
The park is located in the Greater London area, and it is a nationally protected nature reserve that reaches up to 336 acres in total.
If you are coming to the festival by car, you can buy a secure parking space for £10 before arrival. If you decide not to purchase a parking space, you may find it difficult to find a spot on the day and this also applies to the surrounding area.
The festival site is easily located by car and is approximately 15 minutes from the M11 and the M25 motorways. The festival will be well sign posted but we advise inputting the address above into your sat nav to avoid any issues.
If travelling by train, the nearest train stations are Grange Hill / Hainault Underground (Central Line) and Romford (British Rail) Once at these train stations there are a number of options available to get to the festival site:
Those who are flying in for the festival can choose between the three nearest airports:
You can call a local mini cab firm to take you from any of these three locations to either Hainault or Romford train stations, or take the relevant connecting trains. You can also use our special Uber code GARAGENATIONUK. This will give you a £10 discount from your fare.
For your full safety our professional security team will be present on the site to offer their assistance where needed. This will be supported by a network of CCTV cameras that will help us to manage the large amount of people visiting the site during the course of the festival.
We would also ask everyone visiting Garage Nation 2019 to respect the local residents who live in the surrounding streets close to the park. The local community have been extremely helpful in supporting festivals over the years and where possible we endeavour to keep any noise, litter and disturbance to an absolute minimum for the day.
